Urango optimistic about future

Press Release: Former world junior welterweight beltholder Juan Urango dispatched of Marty Robbins (22-40-1) in five rounds on Wednesday to up his record to 19-1-1 with 15 KOs. “I’m taking this sport much more seriously than ever and I plan on ending every one of my fights from here on out with a knockout,” said Urango.  “I want my world title back in 2008 and whoever I have to beat to get back there, I will.” The win over Robbins was Urango’s second since a loss to Ricky Hatton in January.  After some soul searching, Urango has left that fight in the past and only looks forward to a bright future. “What’s done is done and I can’t worry about what happened in January with Hatton,” said Urango.  “I learned from my defeat and I have changed the way I approach the game.  The champions at the top of this division need to watch out, because I’m coming for them.”
