Ramses Ruiz (5-4) of Guaymas, Sonora scored a first-round stoppage against Brayan Galaz (0-3). Ruiz (5-3) was coming off a disappointing loss to Marco Monteros in his previous bout... featherweight Justice Bland, (4-1), of Brooklyn, New York dispatched last-minute replacement Brayan Solorio (1-15 at age 18!) in two minutes of the first round. Original opponent Victor Moralas was a no show at the weigh-in... bantamweight Jose Cariaga (1-3) captured his first victory in the pros stopping Jonathan Ramos (0-6).
