Deal is Said to be in Excess of $100 Million!
BREAKING NEWS: In what has seemed to a major force in the marketing and promotion of the UFC, Spike TV will be where it’s at for at least 3 more years. In the deal, four more seasons of the hit reality show “Ultimate Fighter” will be aired as well as four major live shows per year, two seasons of a new weekly live fight series and 13 one hour episodes of the UFC unleashed. The UFC and Spike TV have clearly illustrated how basic cable can promote and market on a major scale. Being the sole promoter of all of their fighters, the UFC along with their main network, Spike TV hype every PPV night after night in the prime time hours on basic cable.
