Tyson Fury training camp update

With just over a month to go until Tyson Fury’s highly-anticipated rematch with Deontay Wilder – the "Gypsy King" has provided an update on his training routine.  Fury is deep into preparations in his training base in Las Vegas, and while it may look like fun and games on social media, the former champion knows that is strictly business. Fury said: “On Instagram it may seem like I’m living the dream in Las Vegas, with blue skies and palm trees, but in reality I’m in a gruelling training camp and it’s repetitive every day. Instagram would make you believe it’s a whale of a time and I’m enjoying myself and everything is fantastic, but in reality I’m being worked to the bone every single day. I’m being smashed session after session and I’m in the recovery pool because my joints are smashed and I need the recovery. Whatever you see on Instagram in other people’s lives that you’re trying to gain influence from, remember the grass is not always greener on the other side. Anything good in life comes from hard work.”

The former world heavyweight champion Fury (29-0-1, 20 KOs) faces Wilder (42-0-1, 41 KOs) for the WBC heavyweight championship at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on February 22nd, live on ESPN+ PPV and Fox Sports PPV.
