Tyson's Takes: Exclusively On Boxingtalk

Boxingtalk was fortunate enough to speak with "Iron" Mike Tyson several times over the weeked. Although he was ultimately refused an opportunity to work Sultan Ibragimov's corner two nights ago, Tyson was on the east coast in Washington D.C. to watch his daughter Gina Turner graduate from high school. The for champ was in good spirits. Tyson didn't want to conduct a formal interview discussing his personal matters, but did provide us with his take on Miguel Cotto-Zab Judah, Mayweather-De La Hoya, a potential Mayweather-De La Hoya rematch, Mayweather-Shane Mosley, Hopkins-Wright and more. ONLY ON BoXINGTALK!

Mike Tyson on Cotto-Judah: "I like Zab in that one. But he has to come ready to give Cotto a lot of movement and angles and use his speed to win the fight. Cotto has a strong left hand to the body and he's very determined, but as long as Zab is focused mentally I'll think he'll be fine."

Mike Tyson on Mayweather-De La Hoya: "They did a lot of business, but the fight was horrendous. Oscar tried to fight and even though Mayweather won, he didn't do anything to make himself a superstar that night brother."

Mike Tyson on Mayweather-Mosley: "Mosley has a chance to win because he's faster than Oscar, but Mayweather has a difficult defensive style that once he decides to fight a certain way it's hard to beat him. He's not a pretty fight and most of the time he doesn't win pretty,  but that would be a great fight. Much, much better than a rematch with Oscar.

Mike Tyson on Mayweather-De La Hoya II: "Please, no. I don't think people want to see that again."

Mike Tyson on Bernard Hopkins-Winky Wright: "Those are two great fighters, two masters of the sport. Bernard is special and Winky Wright has a great defensive style and what's crazy is he's able to use that to help keep pressure on his opponent because he steps to you with it. I see Winky putting a lot of pressure on Bernard....man I don't know how that one is going to turn out but it's going to be a lot better than people think. These are two great fighters and I think they're going to let it all hang out."
