Tyrone Harris to campaign on!

Tyrone Harris won his first fourteen pro outings, but stepped up to a ShoBox fight in January and suffered a disappointing fourth round stoppage loss against Israel Harris. However, Harris isn't giving up and he seems to have the full support of his manager and promoter.  According to his management, Harris' next fight will take place on March 25, 2006 at Fantasy Springs Casino in Palm Springs, California. Harris will fight in the ten-round  main event  in a junior lightweight bout. There is no signed contract yet, but veteran Armando Cordoba (21-20-1 with 16 KOs) seems likely to be the guy, and he could provide Harris with a test. Cordoba has fought Daniel Maldonado, David Santos, Jason Litzau, Robbie Peden, Humberto Soto and Miguel  According to manager Gary Brandenburg, "Promoter Patrick Ortiz and I sat down and discussed Tyrone's next fight. We both agreed that Tyrone needs a very good opponent and not just a payday as is the norm after a tough loss. Tyrone himself would have it no other way. Ortiz has been very involved with Tyrone's matchmaking and that practice shall continue, as we are all very pleased with Ringside Ticket and how we have been treated since joining the RST family. With a fighter, the likes of Tyrone, a secure and knowledgeable corner, a very attentive and respectful promoter in Patrick Ortiz, I see nothing but  the sky is the limit. I could be no prouder of this young man than I am today."
