Two broken hands for Vitali?

Klitschko routs game Williams

Vitali Klitschko may need to look for a new nickname after retaining the WBC heavyweight championship against Danny Williams by eight-round knockout in Las Vegas on Saturday.  Introduced as "Dr. Ironfist", Klitschko was taken to a local hospital after the fight  and according to Nevada Athletic Commissioner Marc Ratner, Klitschko had two injured and possibly broken hands. Prior to going to the hospital, Klitschko himself said he did not think his hands were broken.  Ratner also told Boxingtalk that Danny Williams is headed to the same hospital for a precautionary CAT scan.  Klitschko knocked Williams to the canvas four times, once each in the first, third, severnth and eight rounds, although in the seventh, it seemed more like a push than a punch that floored the exhausted Williams. Although Klitschko (Boxingtalk's #1 heavyweight) showed vulnerability (he often boxed with his hands down and seemed a little tired at times), he fought a near-perfect fight and won every minute of every round. Williams (Boxingtalk #18), had no quit in him and was on his feet and ready to continue when referee Jay Nady stopped the bout immediately following the fourth knockdown.
