Trio of young guns in action at Hard Rock on May 16

PRESS RELEASE: HOLLYWOOD, FL, May 1 – Sick of long, drawn-out hugging matches that call themselves fights?  Tired of watching fighters throw punches that have the power of a mosquito bite behind them?  Well, Seminole Warriors Boxing has the cure for all that ails you on Wednesday, May 16th, as the undercard to the IBF light heavyweight title elimination bout between Glen Johnson and Montell Griffin features some of boxing’s heaviest hitters in fights guaranteed to deliver explosive action.

Tickets for this event, which will take place at the Seminole Hard Rock Live Arena in Hollywood, Florida, are priced at $150, $100, $50, $25, and are on sale now. They may be purchased by visiting the Hard Rock Live Box Office or all TicketMaster Outlets.  Doors open at 6:30pm and the first bell rings at 7:30pm.

Rising Colombian star Joel Julio (30-1, 28 KOs), seen by many fight insiders as the future of boxing, will look to notch his fourth big win in a row when he battles in an eight round middleweight attraction.

Another middleweight on the rise, ‘Mean’ Joe Greene, a southpaw banger and one of the most decorated amateurs to come out of New York City in recent years, puts his 14-0 (11 KOs) record on the line in an eight rounder against seasoned veteran Jose Spearman (27-12-4, 11 KOs).

And Puerto Rican junior welterweight Kenny Galarza, touted by boxing insiders as the best prospect to come out of the island since welterweight superstar Miguel Cotto, will make his highly-anticipated professional debut against a to be determined foe in a four round contest.

44 wins, 1 loss, and 39 knockouts.  Needless to say Julio, Greene, and Galarza will be bringing the heat on May 16th, so don’t get up from your seat – you might miss it!
