Two Time National Amateur Heavyweight Champion Acquitted

Travis Kauffman was found not guilty of rape in a Reading PA courtroom yesterday.  The two time national amateur champion was accused of statutory rape and indecent assault but was acquitted after the jury deliberated for only two hours.  Travis was quoted as saying “the weight of the world is off of my shoulders.  I feel relieved.”  Travis Kauffman is a two time national amateur heavyweight champion and holds a professional record of 10-0 with 7 knockouts.  Travis also indicated that he is happy he can resume his boxing career and get back to his family life.  Source: Reading Eagle
