Tramaine Williams suffers in-bout seizure

Former world title challenger Tramaine Williams went into a seizure just two minutes into a one-round Team Combat League competition on Wednesday. Williams, a member of the NYC Attitude team, was competing against Ryan Allen when the seizure occurred, but Allen did not land a punch immediately before the troubling incident occurred. Williams has a record of 20-2 which includes a 2020 loss in a WBO 122-pound vacant title fight vs. Angelo Leo. Williams also lost his last fight, an April 2023 bout vs. Elijah Pierce. Both losses were by decision, and Williams fought and one a one-round Team Combat League bout in April. Boxingtalk joins family, friends and fans in wishing Tramaine Williams a complete and speedy recovery.
