Boxingtalk was informed by trainer Freddie Roach that longtime boxing coach Boris Zykanov has passed away. Zykanov was best known for training former world champion Roman Karmazin. Roach said, “Boris went to bed, and he never woke up, and I miss him a lot.”  Boxingtalk would like to pass along its deepest condolences to the Zykanov family, his friends, and to the staff at Wild Card Gym for their loss.
