Top Rank's Bruce Trampler responding to Kenny Porter's statement that Top Rank was not interested in making a fight between Kenny's son Shawn Porter and WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford: "Kenny Porter is a good man and gave an accurate account of matters, but reality is that fight is too costly for what fighters want to be paid without fans.  Everyone wants it but doesn’t belong In Florida or Texas. It’s a Vegas or New York match. Big fights have to go on PPV, but TV isn’t near enough.  Must also have ticket sales and other revenue streams to pay for show.  Remember, fighters want huge guarantees with no risk.  We’ve paid big guarantees for decades but not in these times."
