According to sources close to the boxer, promoter Bob Arum and his compnay, Top Rank, have signed a two-fight deal with Irish prospect Andy Lee. The middleweight Lee, who fights out of the Kronk Gym in Detroit, confirmed yesterday that he had reached agreement with Arum for two bouts in August and September. Lee's next fight, the first of the dealk, will be at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on August 12, 2006 against an opponent to be named. The bout will be part of Hasim Raham vs. Oleg Maskev undercard. Lee said, "My manager Emanuel Steward has reached agreement with Bob Arum, who will be promoting my next two fights.Arum could be promoting my fights after this agreement expires but we will wait and see how the present arrangement works out first."
