Notre Dame football star and team captain Tommy Zbikowski will shake out at the Hawthorne Race Course at 10:30 am on Friday to get wired in for his first professional heavyweight bout June 10 at the 'Mecca of Boxing' - Madison Square Garden. On June 10 Tommy Z will box four rounds in his debut live on Pay Per View on Top Rank's super-big Miguel Cotto vs. Paulie Malignaggi championship card which will include a Top Rank-record 6 bouts on the PPV. Zibikowski had an amateur record of 75-15. However, he is expecting a lot of in-ring heat when he climbs the steps and gets onto the ice-blue MSG canvas fight night. "Being a Notre Dame football player makes it a little tougher to be a fighter. Everyone is going to me gunning for me," Tommy Z told writer Mike Rothstein in the Ft. Wayne Journal Gazette. Hall of Fame trainer Angelo Dundee will be in Tommy Z's corner on June 10.
