University of Notre Dame defensive star and team captain TOMMY ZBIKOWSKI will appear live on ESPN's "The Pulse" Today!  at 2 P.M. EDT from ESPN's Chicago studios.  Tommy Z broke camp for two days so he could take the Chicago Fire Fighters open exam yesterday -- the first one given since 1995.  Tommy Z's mother, Susan, comes from a family of fire fighters, including her father and brother, and it has been a lifelong dream of Tommy Z to become one too.  Immediately following the interview, Tommy Z will fly back to south Florida to resume training with Hall of Famer Angelo Dundee.
 
                Tommy Z, who is in training for his professional boxing debut, will return to his Miami Beach-based training camp this weekend. He will retain his NCAA football eligibility.
