Giovannie “King Gio” Gonzalez and Jose Luis Roa will box each other in a lightweight main event scheduled for November 29th in Tijuana. Gonzalez, of Mexican heritage but fighting out of Stockton, California, is 10-5-1 since turning professional in 2017, but can feels hard done by in a few of the blemishes on his record. He has boxed in Mexico eleven times previously as a pro.Roa from Mexicali, is the younger man by five years at twenty-five, and his record looks more glossy at 9-1-1, losing only his pro debut. But he has not quite faced the level of opposition that Gonzalez has, and this will be his first real step-up fight. The ten-round bout will be the main event of a card at Nuevo Plaza De Torros, promoted by Borizteca Boxing Promotions in association with King Gio Boxing Promotions. It will be streamed live by Fight Hub TV from noon local time.
