Press Release: Tickets are now on sale for the September 23, 2006  "Night of the Rising Stars" Pro-Am boxing show at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford.  The main event will feature a cruiserweight bout between Matt "Too Smooth" Godfrey, 12-0, and Danny "Boy" Batchelder, 24-2-1, with regional titles at stake. Also, former lightweight contender Israel "Pito" Cardona, 35-6, of Hartford, faces intra-state rival, Shaka Moore, 9-10-3, in a six-round bout. Also scheduled to fight on the undercard in separate bouts are super bantamweight Mike "Machine Gun" Oliver (15-0), of Hartford and undefeated 2004 U.S. Olympic heavyweight Jason "Big Six" Estrada (6-0, 1 KO), of Providence.
