Tiara Brown to risk title vs. Ellie Scotney

WBC featherweight champion Tiara Brown (pictured) of the United States and British challenger Ellie Scotney were face-to-face in a respectful face-off, kicking off the countdown for their year-end showdown. On Sunday, November 8th, the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, will host the undefeated Brown putting her crown on the line against ex-super bantamweight champion Ellie Scotney. Brown, with an unblemished 21-0 record with 11 knockouts, arrives as one of the most formidable figures in the division. She last defended it with a unanimous decision victory over Hannah Rapp in June.
 
Scotney, a British boxer, previously reigned as the undisputed world super bantamweight champion, unifying all four major world titles at 122 pounds. In April 2026, she vacated to pursue new challenges. Now making the jump to 126 pounds, Scotney aims to become a two-division champion.  “It’s time to start a new chapter at 126 pounds,” Scotney stated during the press conference on British soil, promising that fans will see her absolute best version inside the ring at this weight.
 
The Brown vs. Scotney matchup, will be one of four world championship fights featured on the landmark MVPW-07 card in Arlington, highlighting what promises to be a monumental night for global women’s boxing.
