Florida's Tiara Brown (pictured), undefeated in eighteen pro fights, has not gotten a world title shot yet, which in the women's side of boxing is a very long wait. That will all change soon, however,  when Skye Nicolson will defend her WBC featherweight championship against Brown on March 22nd at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. Nicolson and Brown have traded verbal barbs in recent months, and the champion admits it’s a fight she wanted to see happen. “The cat is out of the bag. It’s a homecoming as world champion. I’m really excited. These are the kind of fights I’m excited about,” Skye told DAZN. “I’m really looking forward to it. I feel like Tiara has bought herself into this narrative that I’m given everything for free and effortlessly, that everything has been handed to me on a silver platter. I think my fights speak for themselves, but she’ll find out on March 22 why I’m world champion and she’s not. The plan is to be undisputed champion this year.”
