Thompson boxing returns to the Doubletree!

Thompson Boxing Promotions returns to the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California on Friday March 31st with the latest installment of its popular "Path to Glory" series. The WBC Youth welterweight title will be up for grabs in the main event, as defending champion Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley squares off with Eli Addison in a showdown between two unbeaten fighters.. The 11-0 Bradley, who fights out of Palm Springs, California, is coming off a win over Rafael Ortiz last month. In Addison, he will be facing an 8-0 opponent who says he will test Bradley's ability "punch for punch". The bout is scheduled for eight rounds.

The undercard will feature some of the top prospects in the area, as Dominic Salcido, Cleotis "Mookie" Pendarvis, and Manuel Roman are scheduled to appear in separate bouts. Salcido, who boasts a record of 7-0, will face Odilon Rivera in a six round featherweight bout. Welterweight Pendarvis boasts a record of 4-0, and turned pro in November, 2004 after compiling a purported record of 96-5 as an amateur. He's scheduled to face Ricardo Galindo in a contest scheduled for four rounds. Super Flyweight Roman is handled by veteran fight manager Frank Espinoza, and looked impressive in outpointing the then 7-0 Oscar Blanquet in February. The other bout scheduled for the card is a four round super bantamweight showdown between Sytel Wilbarn and Francisco Rubio.
