Thompson Boxing Promotions, one of the busiest promotional companies in Southern California, brings its popular “Path to Glory” series back to the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California on October 17, 2005. Six bouts are scheduled, including a heavyweight bout that will pit 2-0 Hubert Teahu against Javier Diaz, who is best known for defeating Josh Cobb earlier this year. Cobb is the son of ex-contender Tex Cobb who was being billed as a prospect until Diaz (2-2) exposed him. Doors open at 6:30pm, with first bell scheduled for an hour later.
