The numbers are in!

They didn't quite break the record, but they did do good enough to take second. Saturday's Hopkins-De La Hoya bout sold 1 million pay-per-view buys and generated 56 million dollars in revenue. With 600,000 coming from cable systems and 400,000 coming from satellite homes, it becomes the second-highest non-heavyweight pay-per-view event in history, second only to De La Hoya-Trinidad with 1.4 million buys.
