Ahmed Krnjić TKO5 Ali Kiydin... Ahmed Krnjić, a 9-1 heavyweight from Bosnia and Herzegovina, stopped Ali Kiydin (16-7) by fifth-round technical knockout on September 26th in Novi Pazar, Serbia.  Kiydin has now lost six straight. Krnjić entered the fight following a strong  run in the WBC Boxing Grand Prix, where he reached, but lost, the heavyweight final against Argentina’s Kevin Ramírez. He then returned to winning ways with a second-round knockout of Bojan Cestic before heading to Novi Pazar for his shot.

Jin Sasaki KO6 David Ssemujju … Welterweight Jin Sasaki retained his Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) title by knocking out David Ssemujju (9-2-1) in the sixth round on September 21st at the Tokyo Tama Mirai Messe. Presented by Hachioji Nakaya Promotions, the fight pitted Sasaki against Ssemujju, a Ugandan-born resident of Japan who entered as the Japanese national champion. Fighting in his hometown, Sasaki (22-2-1) imposed an aggressive pace early on, while Ssemujju sought to establish range with his jab and left hook. In the second round, Sasaki stepped up the pressure, targeting the body before landing a short left hook that sent Ssemujju to the canvas. Ssemujju responded bravely in rounds three and four, mixing his attacks to the head and body. In the fourth round, an accidental clash of heads caused a cut over Sasaki’s right eyebrow. But in the sixth round, Sasaki landed a big right cross followed by a left hook that sent Ssemujju to the canvas for a second time. Ssemujju rose to his feet, but the referee completed the ten-count, declaring a knockout victory for the local star
