Juan Barajas D8 Bruno Sandoval... In Sonora, Mexico, super middleweight Juan "Just Business" Barajas and Bruno "Tiburon" Sandoval battled to an eight-round draw. The 24 year-old Barajas (11-0-1, 7 KOs), fighting out of Victorville, California, remained unbeaten, albeit fighting to a draw with Mexican knockout artist Sandoval (21-4-2, 17 KOs). Barajas won 97-93 on one of the judges' scorecards, lost 96-94 on the second, and the third judge scored the fight 95-95.
 
Jesus Moroyoqui Palomares W6 Jaime Portillo... In a battle of unbeatens, Mexican middleweight Jesus "Mazo" Moroyoqui Palomares (6-0-1, 4 KOs) won a six-round unanimous decision against his countryman Jaime Portillo (3-1, 3 KOs).
 
Geovany Bruzon TKO3 Jesus Nerio... Cuban heavyweight Geovany "La Bestia" Bruzon (3-0, 3 KOs), now fighting out of Guatemala, stopped Jesus "Dandy" Nerio (14-9-1, 6 KOs) in the third round. Jonathan Lopez KO1 Edwin Salcido... Seventeen year-old Jonathan Lopez made his pro debut in style, picking up a first-round knockout victory over Edwin Salcido (3-4) on Thursday at the Marinaterra Hotel Spa in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, on an event promoted by RJJ Boxing and broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass. Lopez, a Puerto Rican living in Orlando, Florida, landed a big uppercut that knocked out Salcido. He was immediately booked for his second fight on a show taking place in Monterrey, Mexico on December 19th. WBC flyweight champion Ibeth Zamora is also due to return on that card, fresh off of her dominant win over Edith Flores in October. source: mtk
