McCann (15-0-1) had Strand (11-1) down in round two and went on to win a comfortable twelve-round decision by scores of 118-111, 116-111 and 116-112. McCann succeeds Liam Davies as the British champion after Davies vacated to fight for the IBO world title in the main event tonight.

Zach Parker W10 Tyrone Zeuge... Super middleweight contender Zach Parker (24-1) was down for the first time in his career, but overall had a pretty easy time with Tyrone Zeuge of Germany. Parker won the ten rounder by scores of 96-94, 97-92 and 98-91. Parker may move up to light heavyweight in search of a world title shot. Zeuge is a former WBA regular title holder who is now 27-2-1 for his career.

Owen Cooper TKO9 Eithan James... In another bout between unbeaten boxers, welterweight Owen Cooper improved to 10-0. Cooper hurt Eithan James at the end of the ninth round, and James' trainer decided James should not come out for the tenth round. James falls to 12-1 while Cooper takes home the vacant English title belt.
