Thai retains flyweight championship!

Pongsaklek Wonjongkam of Thailand retained the WBC flyweight title challenger Daisuke Naito was stopped on cuts. A punch from Pongsaklek, Boxingtalk's #1 flyweight, landed in the second round and left a cut  over the right eye of Naito. The Japanese challenger continued to fight through the bleeding, but the referee stopped the bout at 2 minutes and 38 seconds of the seventh. Pongsaklek improved to 58-2 with 31 knockouts. Naito dropped to 27-2-2 with 19 knockouts, with both losses to Pongsaklek.
