Team Combat League today unveiled rosters for the Las Vegas Hustle, coached by Dewey Cooper, and Philadelphia Smoke, coached by Lando Rosa. Both teams will do battle on the second night of Team Combat League on March 31st at the Mohegan Sun Expo Center in Connecticut. Each team carries a roster of 18 fighters across 6 weight classes. This is arguably the most anticipated match-up of the opening week, as the rosters include two boxerswho could be stars in the light heavyweight division for the next decade, 19 year-old Sam Arnold Jr. (8-0) of Las Vegas and Philly native Atif Olbertin (8-0). Appearing on the roster of Las Vegas is heavyweight Cassius Chaney. One major question is will Philadelphia have an answer for the dual threat of lightweight James Earle and Deonte Brown of Las Vegas, with a combined record of 25-0. Las Vegas also boasts familiar names Ravshan Hudaynazarov and Lannell Bellows at middleweight and light heavyweight, respectively.

 

“We are excited to match our skills against a team with seasoned pros,” stated Philly coach Lando Rosa. “At the same time, however, Philly is a fight town, and our fighters are of a different caliber. We expect the one round format to be ideal for our tough as nails Philly fighters.”
