Nate Campbell's promoter, One Punch Productions, has released the following statement in reference to comments made in Michael Campbell's "Juan Diaz Update" piece. "Our original offer was for Nate Campbell to step in and replace Lakva Sim on the existing Goosen-Tutor card televised on Fox. To suggest a different date or tv affiliation at that point would have been premature, and an insult not only to Goosen-Tutor and Fox Sports, but to the Diaz camp as well. We were unaware that no effort was being made to keep the Diaz fight together for that date. Since it is now obvious that Diaz fighting on Dec 15 isn't going to happen, then let's let the suggestions flow. There are several dates that potentially could make sense, however they are predicated on the financial requirements of Juan Diaz. Step #1 though is for the Diaz camp to express even a remote shred of interest in the fight. If that interest is there, then I would be more than happy to rattle off 3 or 4 dates and sites that this fight could take place on. If however there is no interest from the Diaz side, then the dates and sites are indeed moot, and we will then focus our attention along with Joe DeGuardia on moving Nate Campbell up towards that mandatory position to challenge Diaz for his title at a later date."
