Newly crowned IBO Intercontinental Light Heavyweight Champion Alejandro "Naco" Berrio and his manager Wiilie Gonzalez are completely disgusted and insulted by the latest ink they received from Fightnews.com after defeating Carl Handy for the IBO title Saturday night in Boynton Beach, Florida.
 
Fightnews refered to Berrios' title as a "minor" belt in a press release on Monday.
 
Gonzalez had this to say:  "I have a bone to pick with Carl Freitag and this other clown who goes by some bogus name Flattop. These two jerks continue criticizing people and organizations which are doing good for boxing. I've been reading all their crap for a while now and I'm tired of it".
 
Gonzalez added, "The IBO is a terrific organization and Naco is a terrific fighter. He's been fighting since he was eight years old and now he's twenty nine. He has dedicated his whole life to boxing and for these two chumps to say he just won a minor title is uncalled for and not true".
 
"This website (Fightnews) claims to have champions in each weight division. If their not a sactioning body, what the hell are they doing with a line-up of champions? I'd like to see them deliver Joe Calzaghe! Naco would fight him in a heart beat. But they can't deliver the newspaper, how are they going to deliver a champion" Gonzalez said.
