Tatenda Biningu (14-1 with 8 KOs) continues his climb up the ranks on Saturday July 13th in Harare, Zimbabwe. The 22-year old, whose sole defeat came in his 2019 debut, but he went on to success in the super bantamweight divisiom, and has since moved up two weight divisions. Now he will attempt to go to the next level, when he fights former Tanzanian champion Sadiki Momba, (29-10-3 with 14 KOs) at junior lightweight. Age 35, Momba is a very experienced operator, having boxed in eight different countries besides his native Tanzania. He will fight Biningu as the underdog, but will hardly be intimidated by going to his opponents back-yard, and is certainly the best opponent the local man has faced to date. Biningu vs. Momba headlines a card promoted by former WBF middleweight champion Charles Manyushi.
