Tarivs Simms returns with a win

Reading, Pennsylvania report

Tarvis Simms W8 Daniel Stanisavljevic... Saturday night in Reading PA, "Marvelous" Tarvis Simms made a successful comeback with an eight-round unanimous decision over the very game Daniel Stanisavljevic.  As Simms, 22-0-1, began to shake off the rust from a nearly two-year layoff, his skills became more evident.   The more Tarvis let his hands go, the more accurate and effective they became. However, Stanisavljevic, 7-12-2, came to fight, constantly coming forward and letting big shots fly.  While giving Simms constant pressure. Stanislavljevic was cut over both eyes by the end of the seventh round.  Instead of going to the hospital, Stanisavljevic opted to have his cuts sealed with crazy glue after the fight thanks to the quick work and innovation of cut man Sid Brumbach.

Travis Kauffman TKO3 Joseph Stofle... In the co-feature, heavyweight prospect Travis "GW Hope" Kauffman easily outclassed Joseph Stofle.   Kauffman, 8-0 (6 KO's), displayed flashes of brilliance using hand speed, head movement and foot speed that had the light footed prospect dancing circles around the outgunned Stofle, 10-9-2 (9 KOs).   When Travis through the straight right, it landed with sheer velocity.  The fight was stopped in the third round as Travis landed a barrage of power punches in the center of the ring. While Stofle was still aware of his surroundings, he was clearly taking unnecessary punishment.

Jason Cintron W4 John Lipcomb... Jason Cintron, 5-0, dropped John Lipcomb in the first round and clearly won every round after.  Cintron outworked and outboxed Lipcomb, 2-8, in front of his brother, IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron.

William Prieto TKO1 Jeremy Stauffer...Marshall Kauffman's stable was not entirely successful as the hard hitting Jeremy Stauffer, 6-2 (6 KO's) was stopped in the first round with a shot on the ear that had his equilibrium shook.   William Prieto is now 5-1 (2 KOs).  If Stauffer wants to be successful as a pro, he must dedicate himself to using defense and consistent work in the gym.

Darnell Jiles TKO4 Damon Antoine... Young and talented prospect Darnell Jiles Jr., trained by Marshall Kauffman and managed by Steve Nelson, has over 160 amateur wins and the pure athleticism needed to rise through the top of the rankings.   The speed and skill of the young Jiles was far too much for his opponent Damon Antoine, leading to a fourt-round stoppage.  Although the crowd disagreed with the stoppage and Antoine is just 4-13-1, Jiles, 6-0 (3 KOs) is someone to watch.

Eric Kaust KO1 Lamar Jones... In the opening bout of the evening, Eric Kaust, 1-1 (1 KO), destroyed Lamar Jones, 0-1, in the first round.Â
