Tapia in Chi-town today!

Five-time world champion Johnny Tapia will make media  appearances and meet with fans in Chicago this Wednesday, June 21 to  promote his newly released autobiography “Mi Vida Loca- The Crazy Life of Johnny Tapia.” At 7:30 am, Tapia will be the in-studio guest on Que Buena105.1 FM’s “  El Pistolero y Memin,” Chicago’s #1 morning radio show for adults 18-49. At 9 am, Tapia will be the in-studio guest on the nationally syndicated  radio program “ Mancow’s Morning Madhouse” heard locally on 101.1 FM. Tapia will hold a private reception for media from noon until 2 pm. From 2-3pm, fans are invited to meet Johnny as he signs copies of his  book at Neuvo Leon Restaurant located at 1515 W. 18th Street in the heart of Chicago’s Pilsen neigborhood. At 4pm, Tapia will be the in-studio guest of top-rated afternoon drive personality Roe Conn on WLS 890 AM. At 5:30 pm, Tapia will appear on Comcast Sports “Chicago Tribune Live” television show which will be rebroadcast that evening at 10:30 pm. Tapia’s autobiography was co-written by Bettina Gilios, writer of the hit movie “Glory Road.” Gilois in the re-write stages of Tapia’s movie for famed producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Details regarding Tapia’s Wednesday, June 28th appearances in New York  City will be announced shortly.
