Johnny Tapia, five-time world champion in three weight divisions, will be at Top Rank's 'Homecoming' press conference in Albuquerque, N.M. on Wednesday. The presser will be at the Jockey Club inside the New Mexico State Fairgrounds at 1:30 pm local time. Tapia, who has been training for weeks with Robert Garcia in Oxnard, Calif., will headline Top Rank's big 'Homecoming' fight card scheduled for the historic Tinley Coliseum in Albuquerque, N.M. on Friday, December 9.

"Five world titles, 17 years in the pros, 224 fights including his tremendous amateur career. He did all of this while not forgetting to scream into the TV cameras 'Albuquerque - I'm still your hometown champion! Tapia has transcended the sport to become a part of New Mexico...."
Bruce Trampler, chief matchmaker for Top Rank, will outline the fight card.
"Homecoming" tickets are $100, $50, $35, $25 and $20 will go on sale at Ticketmaster.com on Wednesday, 10 am.
