Press Release: On Friday April 21, 2006, Brooklyn heavyweight Taurus "The Bull" Sykes, 24-2-1 (6 KOs), will face Derek Bryant 18 -1(15 KOs) in the main event on ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights. Sykes recently won an 8 round unanimous decision over Dominic Jenkins 7-4-1 (2 KOs) in San Antonio, TX while Derek Bryant drew with 96 US Olympic team captain Lawrence Clay-Bey in his last outing. Also on the card will be El Paso, Texas pugilist Evaristo Primero 14-8-1 (7 KOs), who faces undefeated Rayonta Whitfield 12-0 (7 KOs) in an eight-round super bantamweight fight. The fight will be held at the Augusta-Richmond County Center in Augusta, Georgia. Promoter of the event is Prize Fight Boxing.
