Press Release: For the third straight year, Miguel Cotto is the 'Fighter of the Year' in Puerto Rico. Cotto, 28-0 and the WBA welterweight titlist, was announced as Puerto Rico's best boxer in the annual awards given by the Puerto Rico Boxing Commission. Evangelista Cotto was named 'Manager of the Year' and young bantamweight prospect Jesus Rojas was selected Puerto Rico's 'Prospect of the Year.'  The awards will be presented on February 20, 2007 at the Embassy Suites in San Juan. Cotto is training in Puerto Rico to get set for a world title defense against Otkay Urkal, the WBA mandatory challenger from Berlin, Germany.  Cotto vs. Urkal is scheduled on Top Rank's big March 3 championship fight card at Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan.
