Superfighter to be officially announced in NYC on May 22!

The official launch of Superfighter including announcement of complete details of its premiere event – a heavyweight tournament Sunday, July 9 in Melbourne, Australia (airing Saturday, July 8 in North America) – will be Monday, May 22 in New York City with a host of fighters and sports celebrities in attendance. The news conference and launch event will take place in at Gotham Hall, 1356 Broadway at 34th St at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. All of the fighters in the July 9 tournament are expected to be on hand for the launch of this exciting and innovative boxing event.  The event will also be streamed live at 11:30 a.m. to boxing, sports and entertainment reporters worldwide.

Attending will be legendary former world heavyweight champion and popular boxing commentator George Foreman, Superfighter founder Stephen Duval, veteran boxing commentator Colonel Bob Sheridan, renowned ring announcer Michael Buffer, and numerous additional well-known surprise guests from the world of boxing.

 Editors and reporters are invited and encouraged to log onto the Superfighter web site at www.superfighter.tv from Thursday, May 18 and register in Superfighter’s Media Centre. After registration a confirmation email will confirm access to view the May 22 streaming video and keep up-to-date on all the latest news on Superfighter.

 Superfighter founder Stephen Duval said, “We knew we had to launch Superfighter in North America in a major media hot spot and we understood that not everyone could be in New York City on May 22. So, we felt that creating a live video stream of  the activities would give all of the important boxing, sports and entertainment media the opportunity to view the proceedings and share in our enthusiasm for and excitement about this unique series in professional prizefighting.”
