Suleyman in action Thursday in Maryland

The smart, slick boxer Nurhan Suleyman has informed Boxingtalk that he will be headlining the show at the famous Michael’s 8th Avenue tonight in Glen Burnie, Maryland.  The Turk, who now makes Houston home, will be facing the powerful Artur Atadzhanov, who owns seven knockouts in his nine win career.  Also on the bill will be Ishmail Arvin, Larry Marks and Sam Reese.  This will be Atadzhavov’s first fight in the States as he has fought most of his bouts in his homeland of the Ukraine.   Suleyman says Atadzhanov is a young left-hander who lacks experience.  Suleyman is looking to make Atadzhanov’s initial visit to the U.S. a bad experience, as he plans to send his opponent back overseas with another loss on his record.  With the ever-entertaining James Toney as his role model, Suleyman proclaims that he is another version of “Lights Out” because he is a very slick fighter.  However, having dropped his first professional bout via unanimous decision last July against David Estrada, Suleyman knows that he needs to look impressive tonight in order to pursue his dream of becoming a world champion.  “I am a warrior,” says Suleyman.  “I feel perfect.  I will be the boss in the ring because my dream is to become world champion.”  Suleyman predicts that this will be a very exciting fight for boxing fans to watch, and that he will walk away victorious tonight in Maryland.
