Street and school to be named after Bernard Hopkins!

Earlier today, at a ceremony at Philadelphia's City Hall to swear in Bernard Hopkins as the Ambassador of Peace for the city of Philadelphia, Mayor John F. Street announced that a city street and school will be named after the undisputed light heavyweight champion of the world, Bernard "the Executioner" Hopkins.  While being the Ambassador of Peace, Bernard Hopkins will also play crucial a role in the Mayor's drug and alcohol awareness program.  Although the street and school have not been chosen yet, one can expect the area to be in and around North Philadelphia where the young Hopkins was brought up and where he can be expected to make the biggest impact with his new position as Ambassador.Â
