Stevens plans to test Jason's chin quick!

Both members of the Chin Checkers now have their assigments for August 4, 2005 at New York City's Manhattan Center. As previously announced, Jaidon Codrington will fight his first ten rounder against Levan Easley, who is deceptively tought despite a mediocre 17-11-2 record. That bout will decide the New York state super middleweight title. Today, promoter Lou DiBella announced that the other half of the duo, Curtis Stevens, will face Jason Quick in a match-up of unbeaten boxers. Quick is 4-0-1 with the draw coming in his last bout. Stevens is 6-0 and was extended to the final bell for the first time by veteran Shannon Miller back in April.
