Stark arrives late in Oklahoma

Weigh-in report

Gary Stark, Jr. had a stressful trip from New York City to Miami, Oklahoma, arriving at 11:30 PM on Thursday night, about 24 hours before the biggest fight of his career. Stark and Mike Oliver both needed a second attempt to weigh in at 122 pounds for their junior bantamweight regional title bout. Stark's arrival was delayed by the snowstorm that hit New York City earlier this week. Oliver arrived around 4:00 PM on Thursday for the battle of unbeaten prospects that will headline tonight's edition of ShoBox.   For the eight round co-feature, both Derek Ennis and Allen Conyers tipped the scales at 152 pounds.
