Holyfield-Maddalone to be shown live on cable

Boxingtalk has just learned that SportsNet New York will join CN8, The Comcast Network, to broadcast live on cable the heavyweight fight between Evander “Real Deal” Holyfield and Vinny Maddalone. The broadcast, which will also include Calvin Brock's bout, will air on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 10:00 PM ET.  [Note: a previous reported that Comcast would show the fight on pay-per-view is incorrect]. The Holyfield-Maddalone boxing event will also be made available to all Comcast Cable systems nationwide.  In addition, CN8 will have a webcast on www.CN8.tv.  The event will take place at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. --Scott Shaffer
