Spinks to Mosley: Stop Making Excuses

After learning of Shane Mosley describing a potential fight with current IBF junior middleweight champion Cory Spinks as a track meet that nobody really wants to see, Boxingtalk reached out to the Pride of St. Louis who had this to say. "Shane just needs to step up or shut up. He's talking about fighting me being a track meet, but that's BS man. He's the one running from me. He don't need to go all the way up to 157 for a big fight, all he has to do is fight at the division he done fought his last two fights at 154. He's been running from me ever since I beat Mayorga. Him and Mayorga was supposed to fight but then when I became undisputed he wanted nothing to do with me. When I was undisputed at 147 he was fighting at 154 and now that I'm the champ at 154 he wants to fight at 147 so who's running? I'm the best junior middleweight in the world, do you want to be the best or continue to make bullshit fights? This could be the biggest fight that happens before Oscar and Floyd fight next year, and there's not a bigger name for Mosley to fight that would make a PPV event." More to follow so stay tuned.
