Ray Joval W10 Willie Gibbs... In the ESPN2 main event from The Bronx, New York, Ray Joval overcame a seventeen month layoff and a cut over his eye to decision Willie Gibbs in a middleweight battle by scores of 97-93 (twice) and 96-94 Joval threw 979 punches in ten rounds and was credited with outlanding Gibbs by 343 punches to 197. Joval, whose ring absence was caused by a 2005 auto accident, returns to the middleweight top twenty. He is now 35-4. Now 20-3, Gibbs' career seems to be stalled at the ESPN level, but he remains a warrior. source: espn2
