Featherweights Humberto Soto (rated #25 by Boxingtalk) and Gamaliel Diaz of Mexico City highlight the “Guilty Fight Night” card presented by Guilty Boxing in association with Tecate on Friday, March 18, at El Foro in Tijuana, Mexico. Diaz faces veteran Gerardo Zayas, of Tijuana, in the ten-round super main event while Soto, also from Tijuana, takes on an opponent to be determined in the semi-main event. The 24-year-old Diaz, ranked #15 by the WBC among featherweights, has a record of 16-5-2 with eight knockouts including a record of 13-0-2 for his past 15 fights dating back to 2000. The 27-year-old Zayas lists a mark of 22-8-1 with 12 knockouts. The 24-year-old Soto, who appears in the world ratings of all four major sanctioning bodies at 126 pounds, has a record of 36-5-2 with 21 knockouts and has won 22 of his past 23 bouts dating back to 2000. Both Diaz and Soto hold regional titles.
