DOMINICAN REPULBLIC: Press Release VICTORIANO SOSA successfully defended his Dominican Republic lightweight title last night at the Santiago Sports Palace, via a first round KO of Marcos Hernandez.   Sosa, who improved to 39-4-2 (28 KOs), ended the fight with a left hook to the body and a right cross to the chin of Hernandez, 10-4, who was counted out at 2:32 of the round. Sosa, currently world rated No. 13 by the IBF, is promoted by Michael Acri Promotions.
