Solo Boxeo's Latin Warriors Heads To Hawthorne Race Course

Dominic Pesoli's 8 Count Productions teams up with Bob Arum's Top Rank Incorporated along with Miller Lite on Friday, November 5th to bring LATIN WARRIORS, the unprecedented third straight month that Telefutura's SOLO BOXEO Friday Night Boxing Series originates from Chicagoland's Hawthorne Race Course. Tickets, starting with RESERVED General Admission priced at $25, can be purchased in advance by calling 312-226-5800.  

The Hawthorne Race Course is located at 35th and Laramie on the Chicago/Cicero border, just minutes from both the Eisenhower and Stevenson expressways. Doors open at 6pm with the first bell scheduled for 7pm.

Headlining the all-action packed card is the Chicago debut of world ranked Steven Luevano, 25-0 (12KO's) of La Puente, CA in a ten round featherweight matchup against Hector "Chocalate" Marquez, 28-9 (21KO's) of Mexico City, Mexico.

The co-main event is an eight round lightweight battle between "Sugar Ray" Narh, 11-1 (10KO's) of Accra, Ghana and Rogelio Barron, 9-3 (3KO's) of Fort Worth, TX.

Also featured on the card, making their long awaited return to the Chicagoland boxing scene are junior middleweight "Classy" Freddie Cuevas, 23-7-1 (16KO's) and super middleweight Oscar Bravo, 20-2 (17KO's) in separate bouts.

A special welterweight attraction features local prospect Trinidad Garcia, 3-0-1 in a six round bout against Joe Lynch, 2-0 (1KO) of Buffalo, Minnesota.

Making their pro debuts are Chicago natives and former amateur standouts, junior middleweight George Gonzales and super middleweight Ottu Holifield.
