Solis retains 108-pound title with draw

Ulises Solis D12 Omar Salado... After falling behind early in his challenge for the IBF 108-pound championship, Omar Salado rallied furiously in search of a knockout against the reigning champion Ulises Solis, in boxing action from Tijuana, Mexico on Friday. Salado wasn't able to stop Solis, but managed to cut him and earn a majority draw by scores of 114-114 (twice) and 115-113 Solis. The draw means Solis retains his IBF belt, but Salado, who has previously fought at 112 pounds on Guilty Boxing shows in Las Vegas, made a name for himself as a world class boxer. Salado is now 14-0-2, while Solis is 22-1-2 overall and 2-1-1 in world title fights. source: box-latino.com
