On May 11 WBA ranked lightweight contenders Prawet Singwancha and Jose Miguel Cotto will square off for the 'interim' WBA title. Although the fight will be tentatively scheduled for the interim title, the winner of the Freitas-Diaz unification bout would likely become a WBA super champion, so chances are the Singwancha-Cotto bout will take place for the regular WBA strap.
