Silverhawk looks to return C. Johnson to world level

Press Release:  Silverhawk Boxing has signed former world title challenger Corey “Primetime” Johnson (33-2-2, 11 KOs) to an exclusive promotional contract. The Detroit native, age 35, fought Kosta Tszyu for the IBF light welterweight title in 1996,losing inside four rounds. He hasn't lost since then, but has blown up to light heavyweight in his last fight. “Corey has been in the ring with some of the best in the business, including his new stablemate, Stevie Johnston,” Silverhawk president Dennis Rider said. “He has a lot of valuable experience and we believe he has a lot of gas left in his tank. Silverhawk has had success signing other Detroit fighters like Leo Nolan and Rubin Williams We look forward to working with Corey and promoting him in some big fights.”
