Wladimir Sidorenko KO7 Jerome Arnould... Wladimir Sidorenko defended his WBA bantamweight title in Marseille, France, by knocking out unqualified challenger Jerome Arnould of France in the seventh round. Sidorenko won every round and floored Arnould in the fifth and seventh rounds. The second time down, Arnould went down face first, kissing the canvas as they used to say in the old days. Sidorenko, from the Ukraine, is now 20-0-2, while Arnould drops to 14-3-1. He was fighting six rounders as recent as 7 months ago, and has few decent wins on his unimpressive resume. source: associated press
